Illustrator

Jens Ahlbom is an artist, illustrator, children’s book writer and cartoonist from Hudiksvall, born in 1954. In addition Mulle Meck, he has illustrated a number of other children’s books, textbooks and reference books. Jens has won several prestigious awards and won prizes and scholarships. For Jonathan of Gull Mountain, which he both wrote and illustrated, he won second prize in Raben and Sjogren’s picture contest 1985.Together with his brother Peter, he created the cartoon Knowledge corridors, which won Dagens Nyheter’s Comics Competition in 1986. Jens has held several solo exhibitions with his paintings.
